I thought it was great and was actually a bit disappointed when I got to later series, where they don’t have to be together to transform. Part of the magical girl genre is friendship and unity, so I think it makes more sense that way.
Well, I would guess it is kinda difficult to have all the later precures gather together to transform, considering the numbers increase after the original seasons (I think with a minimum of 4 after Futari Splash Star? Correct me if I’m wrong).
